Program Director, Director of Player Develeopment & Co-Owner
When I began my journey towards starting a goalie school I wanted to take advantage of my two great passions, athletics and teaching. My life experiences have taught me the importance of sports and their impact on youth. As a father of 3 wonderful children, who participated in elite level sports, as a 27 year Police Officer of the Toronto Police Service and as a Goalie Instructor since 1994, these have had a profound impact on my vision for the TEAM Shutout development program. I had a vision that developing goaltenders was more than setting up camps that facilitated drills. I had a vision to use the vehicle of goaltending to develop the athletic and life skills of our students. From this wealth of experience and a continued thirst to learn, I have forged development partnerships with experts in various youth development fields, which has guided me in creating the Crease Control Training System. Like anything in life, nothing is complete. I have a continued desire to learn and discover. Always looking for improvements or another added approach that will make the development experience of our students a better one. As the director, I promote my vision through my program and my staff. A vision to deliver a Long Term Athletic Development program, which cultivates discipline and confidence of our young athletes.
